Terms and Conditions
Machupicchu Global, also referred to as the Company in this document, wants you to make the most of your vacation in Peru, for which we recommend carefully reading and following the instructions of your sales agent.
Machupicchu Global is considered one of the safe agencies in Cusco.
Please carefully read the following conditions, as they constitute your contract with Machupicchu Global. By booking a trip with Machupicchu Global, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which describe, among other things, our cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability at the time of making your reservation.
The quote provided by us will be valid once the reservation is confirmed, from which point you can ask any questions regarding your vacation. Machupicchu Global will be happy to answer all questions for you. Quotes do not apply to international flights to and from Peru. If you want us to assist you with international or domestic flights within Peru, the flight must be paid immediately and purchased on the same day or, if possible, the following day to ensure the validity of the offer, as prices vary from day to day.
Our prices do not include meals not specified in your itinerary, personal expenses, personal insurance, and luggage handling.
The Contract
The contract is between Machupicchu Global (also referred to as the company) and the client, who is the person traveling or attempting to travel on a tour operated by the company. You, the client, are subject to having read and understood our travel policy as outlined below. By making a reservation by phone, or through the website, or by email or fax, you agree to and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client regarding the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, guarantee agreement, prior agreement, description of services, conditions, or any promise of refund other than those expressed herein. The service to be provided is the tour or tours mentioned in the booking confirmation.
These conditions apply only to services in our program and not to international and domestic flights. These are subject to the conditions imposed by the airlines.
Securing Your Reservation
To secure the reservation, Machupicchu Global requires a completed booking form (either the one on our website or the one sent by us with your quote), along with the necessary deposit payment. The prudent time to make your reservation is 30 days before your trip to Peru. A reservation is accepted and becomes final only from the date your deposit is received, and at that time a contract exists. Machupicchu Global reserves the right to reject any reservation at its discretion.
Client Information
To confirm and guarantee the Clients the organization of the trip, the client must provide all their identification information with the initial payment or no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. Client details include: passport number, copy of passport information and the medical form (if applicable), full name, date of birth, international flight information and nationality, home or mobile phone number for any emergency.
Final Payment / Surcharges
For the company to confirm and guarantee the Clients the organization of their trip, the client must provide all client information with their final payment at the start of the Tour.
Surcharges: To avoid surcharges on your vacation, make your reservation in advance and do not change hotels at the last minute.
If You Change Your Reservation
An administration fee of USD $50.00 per person will be charged if the confirmed reservation is changed or transferred to a different departure date or tour, up to 30 days before your trip. Thereafter, all changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to charges as follows.
If a client is unable to travel and notifies us about 20 days in advance, in circumstances that Machupicchu Global considers reasonable, then the reservation may be transferred to another suitable person, or their money will be refunded less 20%, as 10% goes to money transfer fees and the other 10% is administrative expenses. Your money will be refunded within less than 15 days.
Changes
The company reserves the right to modify any of the facilities, services, or prices described in the brochure or website. If such a change is made, the client will be informed at the time of booking or when the change occurs. While the company will endeavor to operate all tours as advertised, reasonable modifications to the itinerary may be made when considered necessary or convenient by the Company due to external factors beyond the company’s control.
Cancellation Policy – Right of Withdrawal
Confirmed reservations will have a cancellation policy under the following terms:
- Cancellations or changes to paid reservations have a penalty of 50% of the total package value and will be processed within a maximum period of 60 calendar days after receiving the request.
- Cancellations or changes between 8 and 1 day before the departure date have a penalty of 100% of the total package value.
- Airline tickets from commercial airlines or charter flights included in the reservation are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the flights will remain in the name of the reservation holders, who may use the tickets within a period of 1 year, paying any penalties and fare changes that may arise at the time of use.
Complaints
If the client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, it is a condition of the contract that they inform our local representative at that time. If they do not complain at that time, if later they deny us the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem, Machupicchu Global cannot accept any kind of liability. If the client has a dispute with Machupicchu Global and cannot resolve it, please write to us within 28 days of your return and we will continue to investigate.
Travel and Cancellation Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended for all clients who book. We recommend that it should cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evacuation expenses, cancellation, and curtailment. It is our policy to check the validity and coverage of your insurance policy and we reserve the right to deny transportation to any person whose insurance does not meet these criteria. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you will be required to sign a waiver form acknowledging your acceptance that insurance is recommended but was declined, and in case of need for the change or cancellation of your trip or if you incurred expenses such as medical expenses, the client will be responsible for all additional costs.
Medical Form
For insurance purposes, all clients are required to complete our Machupicchu Global form, which must be signed and dated by a practicing physician (if there are pre-existing conditions) and sent to us no later than 15 days before the start of your trip.

Flights / Delays
We cannot accept any responsibility for cancellations or delays of any of your flights, if the cancellation or delay is due to adverse weather conditions, airline rescheduling, the airport, authority and/or action of air traffic controllers, mechanical failure, or industrial action.
Our company will endeavor to resolve your travel itinerary, and ensure that any inconvenience is resolved and nothing is affected by air delays.
The client must understand and be flexible if, due to air delays, problems cannot be resolved.
