Ausangate 7 Lagoons

FULL DAY

The Ausangate 1-day tour is an adventure experience that traverses the stunning landscapes of the Andes, offering impressive glaciers, lagoons, and streams. During the journey, we will also have the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants, who have a great respect for nature. This hike is ideal for individuals in good physical condition.

Program

We begin by picking you up from your hotel at 3 am and depart for “PACCHANTA,” a community near the “Ausangate” snow-capped peak at 4200 m a.s.l. There, you will enjoy breakfast before embarking on our gradual hike amidst the Andes mountain range to explore the “7 Ausangate Lagoons.” We will start with the first lagoon after approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of hiking (6 km). We will continue this exciting adventure by visiting the other lagoons, on a hike of about 10 km (5 hours).

Upon returning to “PACCHANTA,” we will immerse ourselves in hot springs and enjoy a lunch prepared by our chef. Finally, we will return to Cusco after this unforgettable experience.
